Nottingham's Lord Mayor, the Sheriff of Nottingham and the city's official Robin Hood are going to be there. Me? I'm attending via a mobile livestream hosted by my web designer, PCM creative's Caron Lyon.
Live & Delighted - PRESS & PROMOTIONAL LAUNCH
I was introduced to Caron who had recently build ACT's website at the OUT THERE exhibition. Over the years my work has 'Pollock'd' across the Internet and I thought it about time I established a suitable digital home for my fans and purchasers of my work (many are both I'm humbled to declare) to visit and get in touch with me as well as discover my latest creations.
Over the next few years, it is going to take years! I will be working with Caron and PCM to curate the body of work I have produced over the last several years. At the Nottingham launch, and this may answer the 'Why Nottingham?' question, if you were wondering, I produced a NOTTINGHAM COLLECTION of artworks, three of which are to be sold at the Tourism Information Centre in the city centre of Nottingham, renowned as the home of the legendary Robin Hood, My Robin Hood - Prince of Nottingham, Lord Byron - She walks in beauty, like the night and Goose Fair at Night in Nottingham.
In attendance will be The Lord Mayor of Nottingham Cllr Michael Edwards and The Sheriff of Nottingham, and hopefully, Tim Pollard, Nottingham’s Official Robin Hood. Also present will be several of Nottingham’s Art and Cultural organisation representatives, and resident artists from the P Spowage Art Gallery where the OUT THERE exhibition was hosted.
I will be remotely present via LIVE stream from Brussels/Nottingham to meet you all and answer any questions from you and other guests. Marcus Gilmore will be in attendance to answer any questions too. We are both delighted to be awarded the Cultural Lions honour.
